Arthritis Diet: Food to Eat and Avoid


The weekly diet for arthritis patients should include servings of non-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids like Wild Alaskan Salmon, cold water fish, Omega-3 fortified eggs, walnuts, fish and freshly ground flax-seed. You can also take meals that include ginger and turmeric as they are known to be anti-inflammatory.

Eat five to nine daily servings of fresh fruit and vegetables to ease the join pain. There are some foods that you have to avoid for arthritis like potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and peppers. But there is no concrete scientific theory to support this base.
