Here is how you can get flat stomach without dieting:

1. Eat fruits and vegetables: Go for orange colored fruits and vegetables.  Many actresses when they have to go nude for a movie or strip to minimal wear impress you with their contours. But to get the kind of enviable waist and flat stomach, they have replaced processed foods an refined grains with vegetables and fruits like oranges. Fruits and vegetables contain vitamin C and beta-carotene that can ward off fat besides fiber which helps in easy elimination and keep you feeling fresh. Peaches, cantaloupe, peaches are good sources of beta-carotene while oranges, berries and kiwis are rich in Vitamin C.

2. Selenium: It has been seen that people with heavy midsection and broader waistlines are deficient in selenium. Selenium is found in chicken, nuts and other such foods but one does not known if you are realy getting 55 mcg a day ebcasue the amount can vary depending on the soil on which the food is grown and the diet that the livestock eats.  So, you may have to add a supplement in your diet. Nuts in California, Vermont Cheeses and Midwest grains are rich in selenium.

3. Protein: Protein from egg whites, lean meat is good for energy, build muscle and can make you feel full, resulting in curbing hunger. But intake of high amounts of protein can stress the kidneys as they have to work overtime to eliminate the excess, resulting in the depletion of calcium from the body. So, the target should be to get 25 percent of calories from protein; so if you are eating 2000 calories on a daily basis, you should have 500 calories from protein. Nuts are also a good source of protein but they may have high calories. So just five 1 ounce servings in a week is fine. One ounce is 35 peanuts, 18 cashes or 24 almonds.
